dont make uaz a flare gun drop, spawn them randomly outside of the first circle, but not on a street. spawn them randomly in garages or right next to a bush or at small lootlocations where no streets are or...

Yes put it into the game and make it rare, lets say 6 - 10 on each map, cause not all will be found.

i hate the fact that i have to wait for the icon special air drop available. pls just make it if u shoot inside the circle u get weapons and outside u get uaz.

next thing i need to test this in solo and duo, and also on sanhok and miramar.

 

this hasnt much to do with flare gun at all, but by playing this mode i feel how lame erangel loot and pacing is. circles still didnt get touched as you mentioned months ago... we all were happy with the pgi settings, so why dont take them back with 100 players... i think this was important to mention

way way waaaaay to manny flares, you wil  hear flares go off all over the place.

it makes the game feel all about the flares and i hate that.

i dont like everyone can see the crate on the map.

it should really be rare to hear one going off, i feel that only 2 or 3 people should have the luck to find one, some games no one might even find one.

everybody rushes a lot more becouse everyone feels they should have at least 1 flaregun of their own its BS

it is also highly annoying to hear the dumbfucks coming in ifter u found one and they want to take it from you.

and now they go off all over the place and people in cars are just chasing the planes its stupid

 

i also think the plane itself is a wrong choise, it should be a superfast jet or something that drops a big coneshape object that burries itself in the ground on impact, leaving the backside open to take the loot.

people should only know the general direction someone might have good gear from a drop imo.

if u fire a flaregun it sould be a done deal within 30 seconds so he can move on with his weaps before powerhungry looser come in and take it all wile ramming into you

But what if team A carring the flare gun having awesome loots gets to take this flare gun ammos? 

Dont worry as this wont happen as each and every palyer on the map will get to see the red plane crossing by knowing for sure it would carry flare gun ammo with it. Which would make lot of team to go camping as to kill the team carrying flare gun with them. 

What if all the teams carrying Flare gun dosent come to care package?  

Well in that case team who manages to get the flare gun ammo from redplane  supply drop will be in search of killing the team carrying flaregun as those team will be having special loots to make them reach in later game.

So the point is I would like to see a new strategy which would come out from the midgame to late game which sure would bring up some pro plays plus more fun to the game.

(Also dont worry not all the players will come to the drop location as coz only the teams who gets to see the redplane will get attracted to it.. and one who dosent sees will not.. coz the once the drop gets thrown from fhe plane it would look regular in colour.. so only the teams seeing the redplane drooping the loot would know it contains flaregun ammo with amd the others dont)

 

And if yall are impressed by my idea amd if yall willing to add this thing in beta update or so.. pls call thos drop as the RED DROP!!!!! (music plays thaaann thaan thaaaaaaannnnm!!!) 

If this is setup the way you describe,, If I'm on Team A I'm chucking the flare gun into a bush or dropping it in the ocean after we've gotten our loot. Why take the chance of allowing another team to get the gun off of one of us. If they kill one of four teammates, and that one has the flare, then a situation is setup where we could get very screwed if we meet that team again. Since flare gun crates have so much loot we don't need a second. Why hold onto the flare gun?

Would prefer if the flare gun was limited to an armored vehicle, whether it be modified from it current rendition to something that may have a gun attached or if it is made to allow shooting from select seats. Having the flare guns kept as they are, it should stay as a novelty and be kept out of matchmaking and competitive games.

After playing many matches with the Flare gun my feedback is the following:

 

The Flare gun is a great idea and I really like it but in my opinion it doesn't belong in the main game only as an event mode like the first Flare gun event modes and the 8-Man Squad Mode (which where all awesome).

  • If it will be added to the main game there should be some changes: The Flare gun should be very rare not like it is now because every minute I hear a flare being shot in the air and in the end game everyone has T3 vest and helmet.
  • If it will only be an event mode: Change the amount of crates you can get per circle, it is very annoying to wait for the second circle to shot the flare to get the big crate. Another awesome thing would be if you change the UAZ to something crazy. An armored UAZ with a M249 on top with an open Gunner position so you could snipe him out or something like that

Hope the crate will drop enought gear for a 4 man squad.

That would be a total disaster because of how unbalanced the game would feel just because one squad randomly found this item (the game would feel like going to the casino instead of being a skill game). I like the idea but two sets of lvl 3 gear is already too much imo.

that what I said :) with UAZ with a machine gun on top of it or front :)

If you want to introduce flares in normal games the drop rate should be extremely low and they should be found EXCLUSIVELY in hot drop location to reward people that take the gamble to drop there.

 

I expect to see no more than 1 or max 2 flares shot, per game. I would be very disappointed to see anything different.

I fired a flare yesterday and nothing arrived, I know I did it right because the previous game it worked (and it's not difficult... ?)...

 

Also, in that game the planes were flying overhead in what appeared to be every 15-20s... so the guns weren't rare on that map...

Too many flares. It changes the focus of the game. And it especially reduces the value of normal crate drops. Use the frequency of crate drops as a rule of thumb for the amount of flares there should be. At the moment, there are more flare drops than supply drops and that makes no sense because flare drops have better loot and are more convenient.

 

In addition, increase the time it takes for the flare to reach the ground.

-Delay the plane a few more moments. (simultaneously, provide a UI feedback to let the player know their flare is being called in)

-Make the plane slower (or potentially even change the drop vehicle to be distinctly different from the plane, like a helicopter or something).

-Make the crate's descent slower.

 

Armored UAZ is useless. Sure, you can't get shot through the window, but you also can't shoot out and its armor is garbage: it dies too fast. Basically it's a rolling coffin. I suggest increasing its hitpoints and maybe even add a 5th passenger position that stands in the middle, through a hole in the top, and is able to fire their weapon. Note, I do not think that the vehicle should have a pre-attached weapon.
