Hi everyone,

As you know, we’re present at gamescom 18 in Cologne. To celebrate, we partnered with Nvidia for a giveaway contest. Join us – at the venue, or online – for a chance to win a TITAN XP GPU!

How to participate?

There are two ways of taking part in the contest.

1) If you are at gamescom, take a selfie in PUBG booth and post it on your Facebook or Twitter profile with a hashtag #PUBGCOM18 (make sure it is shared publicly).

2) If you are not attending gamescom this year, you can still join this contest. To participate, watch the stream on our Twitch channel https://www.twitch.tv/pubg_eu, cut and save the best moment of the stream (max 20 sec) and post it on your Facebook or Twitter channel also using the hashtag #PUBGCOM18.

Please read below the Terms and Conditions of Participation for more details.

The contest "PUBG GC18 Contest" (hereinafter the "Contest") is organized by PUBG Amsterdam B.V. (the "Organizer"), Claude Debussylaan 7, 1082 MC Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The Contest will be carried out during Gamescom 2018 from 22.08.2018 up to and including 25.08.2018 (hereinafter the "Event Period"). During the Event Period, participants may post Content on Facebook and/or Twitter to participate in the Contest (see Section 4 for details).

a) Eligible to participate are persons over 16 years of age and residing in a member state of the European Union at the time of participation. Participants who are under 18 years of age require the consent of a parent or guardian to participate.
b) An active user account on Facebook or on Twitter is required to participate.
c) Participation in the Contest is free of charge. Participation does not imply any obligation to make use of certain services, to purchase products or to consent to advertising measures. This also has no influence on the chances of winning.
d) Excluded from participation are employees of the Organizer as well as employees of affiliated companies and relatives of such employees and relatives. Participation may only take place under one's own identity.

a) Participants who visit Gamescom can participate in the Contest by posting a Selfie, which they have taken in front of one of the PUBG booths at Gamescom, during the Event Period via their Facebook and/or Twitter user account on Facebook and/or Twitter and tagging it with the hashtags #PUBGCOM18.
b) Furthermore, participants can participate in the Contest by watching the twitch stream PUBG_EU at www.twitch.tv/pubg_eu and posting their favorite video clip (max. 20 seconds) via their Facebook and/or Twitter user account on Facebook and/or Twitter during the Event Period and tagging it with the hashtags #PUBGCOM18.
c) Each participant can post any number of pictures and/or video clips in the manner described under a) and b) on Facebook and/or Twitter. However, each participant may only receive one prize.
d) By participating, the participant agrees to these conditions.

a) The participant agrees that the Organizer may publish the picture and/or video that the participant has posted on Facebook and/or Twitter (the "Content") in the manner described in Sections 4 a) and b) on the Organizer's Facebook or Twitter channels.
b) For the handling of personal data, see Section 9 below.

a) The participant is responsible for ensuring that the persons who can be identified on the pictures which the participant posts on Facebook and/or Twitter (Section 4 a)) in order to participate in the Contest have given their consent to the picture being taken and being posted on Facebook and/or Twitter. The Participant is also responsible for ensuring that the provision, publication or use of the Contents uploaded by him/her for participation in the Contest does not violate applicable law or the rights of third parties.
b) The participant indemnifies the Organizer from claims of third parties of any kind resulting from the illegality of the Content created and/or used by the participant to participate in the Contest. The indemnification obligation also includes the obligation to fully indemnify the Organizer of legal defense costs (e.g. court and lawyer's fees).

a) A participant can win one (1) of thirteen (13) prize bundles, each containing one (1) NVIDIA Titan xp GPU graphics card and one (1) SWAG BAG, filled with various PUBG merchandising products, e.g. T-shirts etc.
b) The prizes will be randomly awarded among all participants. However, each participant may only receive one prize.
c) The Organizer will notify the randomly selected potential winners via a direct message on Facebook and/or Twitter of their potential winning within two (2) weeks of the end of the Event Period.
d) The Organizer is entitled to request proof of identity, the postal address and the mobile phone number from the possible winners for the purpose of verifying their identity and age
and for sending the prizes. Proof of identity can be provided by scanning or photographing a valid identity card or a valid driving license. The proof of identity, the data contained therein, the postal address and the mobile phone number will be deleted immediately after the Contest has been completed.
e) The informed potential winners must report to the Organizer within three (3) days of sending the direct message, stating their postal address and mobile phone number and sending proof of identity (Section 7d)) and, if applicable, proof of parent/guardian's consent (see Section 3 a)), e.g. by a scan or a photo, via direct message on Facebook or Twitter. The Organizer will send the prize within ten (10) working days after receipt of the response to the postal address stated in the response.
f) If a possible winner does not report back to the Organizer after the notification described under c) by the Organizer or does not do so with the required postal address and/or mobile phone number and/or the required proofs in the manner described under e), the claim of this participant to the prize shall lapse definitively and the Organizer shall be entitled to award the prize again to another participant.
g) The Organizer is entitled to announce the winners on its Facebook or Twitter channels and to publish their posted picture or video (Contents) there (see Section 5 above).
h) A payout of the prize, the passing on or the exchange of the prize is not possible.
i) Prizes include free delivery to postal addresses within the European Union only. Any additional transport costs, customs duties or taxes must be borne by the winner. The place of performance shall remain the registered office of the Organizer regardless of payment of the shipping costs by the Organizer. The winner has to bear the costs of a new delivery, as far as the first fails for a reason which the Organizer is not responsible for (e.g. the winner providing an unclear or ambiguous address).
j) In the event of prizes returned undeliverable and the inaccessibility of the participant in at least three attempts by the Organizer to contact the winner on the basis of the contact details provided by the winner, in the event that the required proofs (in particular the proof of identity and/or parent/guardian's consent pursuant to Section 3 a)) are not sent or are not sent in due time, or in the event that violations of these conditions of participation are proven, the winner loses his claim to the prize. If this is still possible depending on the time schedule, another winner of the respective prize will be determined instead. If it is no longer possible to determine a new winner with reasonable effort, the prize is lost. The exact procedure is at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
k) If, for whatever reason, it becomes impossible to send the prize to a winner (e.g. because it was damaged or destroyed before delivery), the Organizer has the right to distribute an economically equivalent prize to the winner instead. The Organizer will not replace any lost or stolen prizes.

The Organizer is only liable for damages if the damage is due to intent or gross negligence. The Organizer is liable for culpable injury to life, body or health of a person even in cases of simple negligence. In addition, the Organizer is also liable for the simple negligent violation of an essential contractual obligation. A contractual obligation is essential if its fulfilment makes the proper execution of the Contest and the fulfilment of the purpose of this contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment a Contest participant may regularly rely. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

a) When storing and using the participants' data, the Organizer will comply with the relevant data protection regulations. The Organizer will collect, store and use the personal data provided for the purpose of participation in the Contest. The data will only be stored for as long as it is required for the aforementioned purposes. No data will be passed on to third parties, unless the passing on is necessary for the execution of the Contest or the sending of the prize (e.g. postal service provider etc.).
b) The details of the Organizer's processing of personal data are explained in the privacy policy, which can be found under [Link to the privacy policy of PUBG].

a) There are no legal remedies to review the draw of the winner. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply exclusively.
b) The Contest is in no way hosted, supported, endorsed or conducted by Facebook and/or Twitter and is unrelated to Facebook and/or Twitter. Participation in the Contest does not give rise to any claims of the participants (in particular no liability claims) against Facebook and/or Twitter with regard to the Contest.
c) The Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to exclude persons who attempt to manipulate the Contest in any way whatsoever, who violate these terms and conditions of participation or who deliberately misuse the Contest to annoy, insult, threaten or harass persons.
d) Any invalidity or unenforceability of certain clauses of these terms and conditions of participation shall not affect the validity or enforceability of other clauses. If a winner deliberately provides false information for the purpose of obtaining the prize or his right to participate, the Organizer has the right to reclaim an already handed over prize or the corresponding equivalent in cash.
