  1. Ever since the beginning of owning this game, which has been since early July 2017, I have never heard a single voice in a lobby, or been able to speak in the game either. Here is a list of my specs for my PC before I talk about the problem in depth. Intel Core i7-6900K CPU 3.20GHz 128 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 SOUND Blaster Z Audio Card Windows 10 64-bit I also want to list the steps I've already taken to attempt to resolve this issue. Made sure my Voice Input device in Windows was set correctly. Made sure my Speakers were set to default. Turned Chat to "ALL" or "TEAM" Pressed ctrl-T Changed "push to talk" key binding (and then back to default) Uninstalled the game and reinstalled Uninstalled Steam and reinstalled Verified game files in Steam more than 10 times (no errors) Tried without my Audio Card Tried on another PC with no Audio Card (still doesn't work) Attempted a VPN (couldn't connect) Tried 3 other USB microphones Tried 2 quarter-inch microphones, each, plugged in to the on-board mic input, or the Sound Blaster mic input Went to %APPDATA%/LOCAL/TsIGame/Saved/WindowsNoEditor/ and opened GameUserSettings (within that I made sure that "bIsVoiceInputMute" "bIsVoiceOutputMute" were set to "False" and that "bUsePushToTalk" and "bUseGlobalVoice" were set to "True" Attempted to run Steam in Administrator mode Attempted to run TSiGame.exe in Admin (doesn't connect to server) I think it's important to note that this game is the ONLY game I have that doesn't seem to work for voice chatting. Other games in STEAM like CS:GO, Garry's Mod, Rocket League, Arma 3, and 7 Days to Die work perfectly. Non-steam games like, Battlefield 1, Battlefront, and Overwatch work perfectly. My microphone(s) also work in Skype and Discord. I have attempted to use a phone hotspot connection, thinking that maybe my firewall is blocking ports that allow me to voice chat. I would then, need to know what ports to open for this, and that hasn't been officially released. However, same story with a VPN, it didn't allow me to connect to the server to even attempt to test this. However, I was able to connect to a lobby, but saw no icon for VOIP working, and my friends also did not hear me in their lobby, so I am assuming this was unsuccessful as well. VOICE CHAT IS IMPORTANT. Many players use VOIP for tactical advantage, talking to friends, or just having fun listening to the shenanigans people do while dying, or in the lobby. It adds so much character to this game and makes it more fun and addicting. There are MANY other players who experience this problem as well, and PUBG Official Twitter posted a PSA about non-functional Voice Chat, and how it would be fixed soon. This was MONTHS ago. By the increasing number of threads related to this problem, it only seems to be getting worse. Are the developers still aware that this problem persists, and is there a fix for this issue already out, or in the works. I would love some input on this situation. Thanks for all your hard work.
  2. Everything worked fine up until January 9, 2018. Now, I can only speak and hear teammates in the first couple seconds of the match, then the voice chat stops working. If I exit game, then load back in, the chat is fixed for another couple of seconds, after which it goes out again. I've been going nuts re-installing, tweaking, etc. The only game that is affected is PUBG. I'm pretty sure it's not on my end, since I can hear and talk for the first couple of seconds, and then it get cut off. Happens in every game mode. Please fix.
  3. Date Seen:Since June 2017. Server: Both live and test servers. Error Message: No game crash. Other Information: In game voice chat has not been working since an update in June. I am unable to hear anyone or communicate to anyone despite my audio settings being set to receive all chat and unmuted. I believe it might be a Windows 10 related bug that I would like assistance on. Note: Mic is the built in mic. Troubleshooting Attempted: Alt T, Alt M; all of those. Audio settings are set to all chat and unmuted and my mic works fine in every other game. Some people said it might be my ISP but its not - I live in NYC and I was able to communicate and hear audio at one point in time. Launch Options: No launch commands. System Specifications: Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 16299) Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 960M CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ Ram: 16GB
  4. Fire whoever is responsible for in game voice chat. There is not much to add here. It's been f****** forever and voice chat still often stops working when you get on the plane. If you dont want to bother with a discord, well too bad... no talking to you.
Also an was kann das liegen? Vielen dank für die Hilfe !
  6. so this bug has been from the start of this game, the bug is when u play duo or squad alone and u try to talk to the other players you cant hear them and they cant hear you and i cant see the mic icon when i speak
  7. Hi, i can not hear anyone in game and they can not hear me, this was working fine until the update i did today. Is anyone else having this problem?
  8. I've been playing Arma 3 BR a lot and i have come to grown use to having the earplug option. I find it difficult to communicate with my team in lobby, in the plain and when riding in a vehicle. Especially when using the boost. In Arma 3 BR i would simply use my earplugs in these situations and honestly it's one of the things i miss the most from Arma 3 BR and i wish for it to be implemented here. Does anyone have any info about this subject?
  9. Bug Description: I originally had my in-game microphone key set as "v", which is what I use in most games. Later, I rebound it to "middle mouse button", which also works fine. The problem is that now when I press "v", other players still hear my voice. In the control tab of the settings menu, it correctly shows middle mouse as the push-to-talk key, which functions as intended in addition to "v" performing the same function even though that bind is cleared. Recently got killed several times when my voice was transmitted by a key not bound to that function, thus giving my location away. Possible related bug: often, my voice chat reverts to "always on" without me changing it. This has also led to getting killed because I did not realize my mic was transmitting. Date Seen: Several months now. Most recently, 09/24/2017. But also several months previous to this; cannot remember the exact date, but it was before the crossbow was added. Server: North America server, FPP Troubleshooting Attempted: I tried repeatedly clearing and rebinding the Push-to-talk key; no effect. I had Steam verify the integrity of the game files, which passed with no issues; no effect. I tried deleting the "GameUserSettings.ini" thus making the game generate a fresh one; no effect. Using Ctrl+T to mute voices successfully mutes my own transmissions, however not a viable workaround because then I cannot talk to or hear other teammates/players. Other Information: No additional information. Launch Options: Have you changed any launch / command line options for the game? No. System Specifications: Operating System: Windows 10 Pro, 64 Bit Graphics Card: nVidia GeForce GTX 1070 (no overclock) CPU: Intel i5-6600k (tried with OC both on and off; same bug appears) Ram: 16 GB
  10. I love talking to people online! But for some reason I cannot hear people when I can speak to them. This problem just started today and I would really like some advice on this topic!
  11. I've got this issue with voicechat; one game it works, and then the next round it totally doesn't work or i can only hear people but my voice isn't picked up/transmitted. i've always got the settings like this: Unmuted voice, voice to team/squad only, always send. In a few games i managed to get it working again by looping a few times trough un/mute and the voice channels, but most of the time when it fails it's not fixable... and then the next round everything works fine again, while playing with exactly the same squad. IF the sound fails, it's only in pubg, using steam overlay to create a private voicechat still works fine if the game voice fails, so it's not my hardware or windows who is letting me down, it's the game. Now lately it's become more and more that the voice often doesn't work and sometimes works; like 1/3 of the games it seems to work... If playing with a fixed group then there's not really an issue as we can use discord or steam voice. but when playing with a team of 3 then there is an issue since the 4th player, designated by matchmaking, cannot hear us. I really hope that they fix the voice, especially since good communication is crucial in this game; in solo it's not needed, but when playing with duo's or squads then voice really is important. Mayb anybody got an idea on how to fix this problem?
  12. So I'm in a duo game with a random player. Voice chat is working smoothly and about 10-15 min in, I get some network lag. Then the voice chat all together goes out. My mic isn't working, I cant hear him, and we die cause I couldn't talk to him. This has happened for the past 6 games. Voice chat is working fine for a while, and then some network lag hits me and my mic is cutout. Idk if this is a large assumption, or maybe not, but could it also be hackers? Somehow being able to lag the server and stop communications? I'm not too sure if that's possible, but maybe. Anyways, if anyone has a solution or an answer, lmk
  13. Voice works fine all game, I'm able to talk to and hear my teammates. I wanted to congratulate the squad of randoms after we won a game, but could not do so because the game wouldn't let me speak on the win screen. They were talking with eachother about kill count, asked for mine, I gave a reply, and they kept asking until they gave up and left. This was, obviously, in game voice and didn't involve anything like discord or ts. This also coincided with my gun continuing to fire after I killed the last player and the chicken dinner screen was displayed, until the magazine was empty.
  14. I was in a sqaud of 4 and they could hear me but I could not here them. I vcould hear all other effects and sounds. My microphone icon was flashing and my squad could see that. The heard me fine with normal volume. I could not see there microphones activating and could not hear their voices. We could use steam to chat. I tried 1)All sound settings were correct. No better with always talk or push to talk. no better with talk to team or all. 2)Quit game and restarted-- didn't work. 3) left party and they re-invited me. didn't work 4)Then I checked mute with control T. This went to mute but when I hit control t again it fixed the bug!!! I swear that I was not on all mute. thanks
  15. Starting a few days ago I found that I could no longer use in game voice chat, this was despite being unmuted in game, and making sure the issue wasn't push to talk, or anything like that. I also checked the gameusersettings.ini file to make sure I wasn't muted there. I tried a clean install of the game after having removed reshade, and my in game voice chat worked until I installed reshade again at which point it stopped working again. However, the in game voice chat did work on the test server with reshade installed.
  16. I could hear teammates when I started playing all the time. But suddenly I can't hear anyone speak? (I have have the settings so I can hear everyone, but still nothing)
  17. I have came across a reoccurring issue, of which my in-game voice will stop working (I can no longer use the chat system and can't hear others) When I exit to lobby after this happens, the game will be stuck at a blank lobby screen with this link in the top right-hand corner, "front.battlegroundsgame.com/index/html" With the three top right buttons (refresh, options, and close) It hasn't been just me, multiple of my friends have came across this bug. We try to turn on and off Voice Chat and no luck. At the lobby screen, hitting the "Refresh" key just bring me back to the blank lobby screen. Forcing myself and others to close and restart the game. Thank you very much.. -Love the game
