  1. When playing the game on a 3440x1440 monitor there are some issues. Firs one is simple: lobby only displays in 16:9. Second one and the main issue: when at 3440x1440 and max fov, the image is stretched at both end of the monitor. Everything outside the 16:9 is stretched. Feels like the game itself just stretch both ends to fit the screen. Or is it a normal effect?
  2. Доброго времени суток. Собственно вопрос: PUBG поддерживает мониторы ultrawide(21:9)? Заказал себе подобный, вот и интересуюсь. Ссылка на монитор.
  3. Date Seen:2017-12-21 @ Time: 17:41 GMT+1 Server: Live server Error Message: N/A Other Information: Lobby, 3rd person and FOV zoomed on ultrawide 32:9. My resolution is set to 3840 x 1080 (native res) This is reproduced in lobby, 3rd person, and FPP. Please see attachments We really want to see that a good implementation so you dont get this scaling issue each time a new aspectratio is released. Having the option AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV was great.. but removed... 4. Date Seen: Currently. Server: Live/Test server, all regions, all modes. Error Message/Other Information: None. System Specs: Windows 10 / Vega 56 / Ryzen 5 1600 / 32GB RAM / 1 x Samsung C49HG90DM / Not overclocked Hello! My resolution is set to 3840 x 1080 and the scaling is off. In third-person and first person everything is zoomed in by ~10% comparing from 16:9 aspect ratio. This is probably due to the resolution scaling setting that maintains the X-axis FOV and not the Y-axis FOV, and I tried to change this using the "AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV" config file setting, but it appears that this has been disabled. This could be worked around by editing the INI in current live servers by manually setting your FOV to higher than 103. Could you please change this FOV option so it scales the Y-axis? Having this issue still remaining when PC version 1.0 hits is a big misstake as people do in fact use ultrawides and this new Samsung monitor is marketed as a gaming monitor. I understand that graphics config line commands have been disabled to deter cheaters and that a third-person FOV slider may be undesirable, but it doesn't seem like changing the scaling to maintain the Y-axis would cause any major issues. It wouldn't affect those running standard 16:9 or 16:10 displays, but it would greatly help those of us in the ultrawide community. Here is a link illustrating what this post is all about: https://imgur.com/a/VCDUr Thanks for your time!
  5. Date Seen: Currently. Server: Live server, all regions, all modes. Error Message/Other Information: None. System Specs: Windows 10 / GTX 1070 / i7-6700K / 64GB RAM / 3 x Dell U2415 Monitors / Not overclocked Hello! My resolution is set to 5760 x 1200, and the scaling is completely off. In third-person, all I can see is the top of my head, and in the main menu, the screen shows the pillars to the left instead of showing any of the characters (see below). This is probably due to the resolution scaling setting that maintains the X-axis FOV and not the Y-axis FOV, and I tried to change this using the "AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV" config file setting, but it appears that this has been disabled. Could you please change this FOV option so it scales the Y-axis? I understand that graphics config line commands have been disabled to deter cheaters and that a third-person FOV slider may be undesirable, but it doesn't seem like changing the scaling to maintain the Y-axis would cause any major issues. It wouldn't affect those running standard 16:9 or 16:10 displays, but it would greatly help those of us in the ultrawide community. Thanks for your time!
  6. When using an ultrawide monitor (mine specifically is 3840x1600 resolution) using the scope of the VSS while prone is impossible. If I had to venture a guess, I think the camera position for the VSS scope is too far back and the head/coat is clipping past the camera position. It basically makes it impossible to use the scope while prone, crouching is fine, and standing is fine.
  7. The ui on player creation on 21:9 is a bit fucked up you cant see the changes you make to the char. See picture
  8. I reported about this in the closed beta as well... Running the game in 2560x1080 is way too zoomed in. The game is cropping the top and bottom instead of widening the field of view. As i said before, I realize lots of people think this gives some advantage and that's for another debate. Regardless, we need some type of solution for 21:9 monitors playing this game. A simple FOV slider would help lots. The main complaint i see on the forums is how zoomed in on the character the camera is. Looting buildings is a painful chore and let's not even talk about driving a vehicle. The close camera looking at the exhaust pipe will give you motion sickness... Can someone confirm that this is being worked on or at least talked about? Please note the screenshots below: You can see the difference between 2560x1080 and 1920x1080. Ultrawide users are actually seeing less of the game than regular monitors. Thanks for any info.
  9. The display in menus in 21: 9 resolutions does not work correctly. The buttons are not well adjusted and the different parts of the UI are not well adjusted either. Black borders should also be added on the sides. Thanks.
  10. I've found a number of things that make the game iffy to play with (though still entirely playable, just kinda 'eh what?'-ish). If anyone has others, I'll add them to the list. I didn't see any other threads about ultrawide monitor support, so maybe this will be it. Luckily, the game plays mostly fine in 21:9, so props to devs on that one. First is the main menu, as there's a couple of them. - black bars making the screen seem like it's 16:9, but the GUI shows up in 21:9 - seemingly caused by the bars, the characters all show up on the right in no menus, and pan to center only in menus (leaving the character covered by the gui) Second is in game. - FOV is really...off in this one. I can barely see below the character's shoulders when in 3rd person, though that could be just because of camera positioning. Either way, getting an actual FOV adjustment would be awesome.
  11. First time I played the game It shows a strange overlay the show a triangle in a bottom of screen, when I play windowed, the triangle change the color to orange : OBS.1: My resolution is 2560x1080 OBS.2: I have a second monitor, 1280x1024
