Wish I could play PUBG for PS4, but...

Awesome! I have it on XB1, but I wanted a PS4 more because of the exclusives that are on it, so I traded my XB1 and got a PS4 Slim. And I also heard from a lot of people, who use to play PUBG on the XB1 say it runs a little bit smoother than the XB1 version. I also noticed that, the buildings render and load in so much faster on the base PS4 and Slim, compared to how they render and load in on the base XB1 and 1S. That being said, being able to land with everything rendered and loaded in is so crucial in a battle royale game. However, I didn't notice those problems on the PS4 where buildings would take a bit to load in, like how it is on the XB1 version where buildings would look like they're made from play-doh... LOL!

Wish I could play PUBG for PS4, but...

It's not that simple for me right now. I have some health issues right now, and I'm on serious medication that costs $1,300 per pill which will be about $90,000 by the time I finish the full treatment. And due to the side affects, how I feel overall, I'm not able to work right now. Although, I do have health insurance thankfully, but I fought for almost 2 years trying to get accepted for the treatment I needed. I also can't count how many times, I've gotten denied but I kept reapplying and trying until I finally got approved which was about 2 weeks ago from today. But to make a long story short. The medication interacts with another medication I've been taking since October 2015, and it makes me extremely tired, fatigued and nauseous on a daily basis. Anyway, I don't really have a choice but to take them, because both of them are for serious matters that are pretty personal to even discuss or talk about online so I don't want to get too much into detail. But in regards to PUBG PS4, hopefully I'll be able to get myself a copy sometime in the near future!? And last but not least, I'll be 33 next month and since I got really sick last year, I ended up moving back into my parents house. They've been helping me out a lot, and more than I could ever ask for by giving me a roof, food etc. But on days I'm feeling ok, I'll help clean, do dishes, vaccum, clean bathroom and whatever else needs to be done. But I just don't feel right asking my family for money or anyone for that matter so I could buy a video game... LOL! I've been trying to sell an Xbox 360 that I have, but nobody wants that thing, especially since whoever buys it would need to buy a removeable HDD for it since it doesn't have one.
  3. This sucks! I want to play PUBG for PS4, but I'm hurting so bad financially that it's not even funny... No joke! And to everyone in the PlayStation Nation, who's having fun right now playing PUBG getting those sweet tasting chicken dinners... I'm so JELLY!!! 😭😭😭

Switched from XB1 to the PS4...

I know right, and I don't understand why 95% of the people in this thread were getting mad at me for? It wasn't like I was hating on Xbox, because I wasn't whatsoever. However, I made it perfectly clear that PUBG on console looks best on the XB1X. But regardless of it looking better on the XB1X, I personally found it to run a lot smoother on the PS4S compared to the XB1S. But to make a long story short, during the entire (3) hours I spent playing it at my buddy Alex's house, I never once experienced any loading issues or play-doh like buildings that are on the XB1S. Also, if you look closely while comparing the (2) versions side by side, you'll notice that the PS4 version has a lot more vivid colors overall which really looks nice!

    Switching to PS4

Skip to 4:35 to understand exactly what I was trying to explain, or feel free to watch the entire video. And like I said hours ago, the XB1X is the best looking version which I've never tried to deny. Anyway, I was recently browsing around YouTube and came across this video. That being said, this will be my last post or reply on this thread, I've said what I had to say so enjoy... Cheers!

    Switching to PS4

Also another thing I like about the OG PS4, is that it uses the same GDDR5 memory that the XB1X uses. However, the XB1X just uses 4GB more of the same memory as it should since it's more powerful. The OG XB1 on the other hand, it uses old DDR3 memory which is why I believe it suffered a lot more in performance compared to the PS4 before the PRO and 1X was even a thing. And when this generation first started, you could get a PS4 that was more powerful at the time, had a faster CPU/GPU, better RAM and was $100 cheaper than the XB1 which had older RAM, slower CPU/GPU, forced players to have Kinect and cost $500.

    Switching to PS4

It's not every game, but a lot of the same multiplats will run at 900p on the OG XB1, while they'll run at a native 1080p on the OG PS4 and Slim. However, it's not that big of a difference, but you can definitely tell the difference when you look at things in the distance. But to me personally, when it comes to the OG consoles games just look a lot more polished on the PS4 version. That being said, either way PS4 and XB1 are both great consoles in their own way. Also, when you have time check out the video that I've linked at the bottom... Cheers! Here's an example...

Switched from XB1 to the PS4...

Same with me, I've always prefered PlayStation over Xbox due to their amazing exclusives. And I agree, PUBG on XB1X is the best looking version on console... Hands down! Also, I myself bought an XB1S back in February 2018 so I too could play PUBG. But now that it's available on the PS4, I decided to trade it off and go back to PlayStation.

Your username isn't that bad to be honest with you. However, I think it would look cooler if it just said Acidreflux or Acidreflucks. That being said, I've seen a lot worse so no worries on your behalf. Anyway, I'll add you on PSN the next time I jump on my PS4.

    Console Wars "Laughs and Giggles"

Are you a PS4 player? Are you an XB1 player? Post a funny pic below, towards whatever game console you support or cracking jokes at. This thread is only to have fun and for purposes to get some laughs. Also, please don't post any pictures with excessive language, sexual or any type of profanity that could get you in trouble by the Admins. That being said, I am not responsible for what anyone posts in this thread, since I have already made it clear on what NOT to do/post. And last but not least, PC players are exempt from this topic since computers can be a lot more powerful than a gaming console. *NOTE: If you're a sensitive person, takes things seriously or gets upset fairly easily, then this is NOT the thread for you to participate in... Thank you!

    Switching to PS4

I'm not 100% sure on the XB1S, but the OG XB1 runs most games at 900p.

    Switching to PS4

Perfect example, just look at all the negative comments on here all because I made a post stating why I've switched to the PS4... LMAO!!! Whatever then, be mad I guess because the truth hurts sometimes. Plus, it wasn't like I made a post saying F*** Xbox, screw you guys, Sony is the best in the world blah! blah! blah! The Xbox community right now is acting like a damn cult, filled with sensitive people who are being ignorant all because someome said they think another platform's version runs slightly better in terms of rendering. I also mentioned, that this was towards the OG PS4/XB1 and PS4S/XB1S. And I also mentioned, how the XB1X version still looks/runs the best on console, as it should since it came out a year after the PRO. Anyway, it's juat a damn video game so who cares what platform you're playing on, if you're having fun then that's all that matters. If someone made a post right now, stating that they're switching from PS4 to the XB1, do you really think I'm going to get bent out of shape over it. It's not I like said anything bad about Xbox or anything, I shared what I felt due to experiencing another version of the game at a friend's house last week. But then you have those, who want to try being rude and ignorant on here making stupid comments saying, I think it ran better because I was killing noobs and getting more kills/wins... WHAT!?!? SMH! My play style hasn't changed one bit, I've never been a pro at PUBG whatsoever, and whether I play on the PS4 or XB1 I still play the same regardless. And to make a long story short, don't you think someone would have a more difficult time winning and getting kills with a completely different controller as well, especially after playing PUBG on the XB1 since February 2018. I don't know, but whatever, it's not all that serious to me but some people really need to think before they talk or just start assuming things because it makes you sound dumb... No offense! That being said, to the Xbox players who are mature, civil and act like half way decent gamers, thank you all for the awesome times and memories. Keep staying awesome... Cheers! PS: I didn't spend a dime to get the PS4, I traded in my XB1S, all my games and everything to get the PS4. Also, I never claimed to be a pro at PUBG, not even on the XB1 version. I play casually to have fun, sorry, I'm not a try hard wannabe pro streamer like 80% of the game's community. But if people are gonna get upset, due to the fact that I said it runs better which has nothing to do with kills or wins, then it clearly shows how ignorant people are.

Switched from XB1 to the PS4...

Yeah, I definitely like the placement of where the analog sticks are on the XB1 controllers more myself. But I like the tension more on the Dualshock 4 controllers and how they feel. When I first got my XB1S, I noticed that the analog sticks felt looser and they had more of a dead zone on the XB1 analog sticks. While I do like the layout more on the XB1 controller, I still prefer playing with the Dualshock 4 controller. I've always been more of a PlayStation fan personally, but I sold my PS4 back in 2017 and then I got an XB1 for the first time back in February 2018 because I wanted to play PUBG and Gears of War 4. But during that time, I was just going to stick with the XB1S until next generation came around, but after experiencing PUBG on the PS4 for myself I had to make the switch again... Lol! Plus, there's just too many good exclusives that I missed out on during my time on the XB1 platform. That being said, I sat down and asked myself which console has more games I'm interested in playing from now until then. And besides Gears 5 and Halo: Infinite, there's nothing really on the XB1 that I'm interested in playing so I decided to switch back to the PS4. Anyway, it was nice chatting with you, and it was a pleasure talking to someone who can actually act mature and have a civil discussion... Cheers!

Switched from XB1 to the PS4...

Dude, go look at my post in "General Discussion" on the Xbox forum, and go see how sensitive and upset everyone is, because I said I switched to the PS4 and how I think it runs better. That being said, I can't stand Xbot Fangirls... I can't! Anyway, I agree with you 100%, and I'm not going to sit there and argue with Xbox gamers, where 95% of them never tried the PS4 version... LMAO!!!
  15. What's up PlayStation Nation! I recently sold my XB1S, and got myself a PS4 Slim for the time being. That being said, I haven't bought the game yet for my PSN account, but I plan on picking up a copy in the near future. And after playing PUBG at a friends house on the PS4, I was sold on how fast everything loads and renders before you hit the ground. Anyway, if anyone wants to add or follow me on PSN, my username is blast2fire so feel free to do so. Also, I will add or follow everyone back who decides to either add or follow me as well...
