  1. You first claim it is NOT a skill based system, but than say that more skill ranks up faster. That does not makes sense. It's either solely XP or it considers skill. And then, you are either calculating skill on the things this game is based upon, survival time, end game rank, etc., or you base it on stuff that the game is not based upon, like K/D. Kids who ignore the game mission, and don't care about their rank or screwing their team can hot drop, and by a roll of the dice even, get a gun or camp out some people for quick kills, but then will get overrun by that player's team, and will die, wasting a spot in their squad (while their other squadmates drop tactically trying to win), but that player will just restart right away and do it again for k/d (and probably still get carried by the existing team he screwed) and get better ranking then people playing the game right. It really took some work to make a rank system that is so bad. Even games that mostly base it on seniority still give more XP points towards doing things. It makes ZERO sense that you don't get more points for having higher rankings and doing better at the end of the game. I have an average game rank per game of about 5th place now, and make top ten at least 85% of the time. But instant death team greifers, who drop hot shoot somebody, die and leave, get better rank. They play more games because they die and restart right away more. To not get more XP by the rank # you die at just ridiculous in last man standing, and is so easy to compute it makes zero sense that have not incorporated it in calculation. Even in a basic system you are talking about, there is no reason that you could not make people get more XP points for time survived and rank # at the end of the match - the exact things that are key ingredients to a last man standing game survival game. PUBG keeps slowly trying to appease Call of Duty console kids, and slowly moving away from what made the game different and great, and what made so many serious gamers, of all ages, flock to and stay for so much time with it... If you're a moderator, not only should your instant defensive arguments be more parsed, but you should be referring the concerns to the developers. No offense.
  2. Yes, and that's the point. It's not for the players that are your friends and already know you. The majority of squad games are with unknown or random teammates, just like a pick-up game at any YMCA, court or field. Those are when the code of conduct and other indicators, like the rank and stats system, mean not just everything but pretty much anything. Sounds like a bell when moving?

Maybe you have your sound turned too low, or poor quality sound card/headphones. The Devs did a great job making realistic, and more importantly directionally and tactically accurate sounds. Food steps, doors, movement are key to this game. That's why all the real players, and people who actually try to tactically use sound in the game are upset.
  4. That's a problem. It used to reflect more towards the mission of the actual game. Please make sure the developers consider fixing this sooner. You/they do not realize it, but they are are disenfranchising players. Making poor instant death, team griefing players think they are better or doing the right thing because their rank keeps going up is having serious ripples in squad games where serious players are connected with these type of people and having their games ruined. PUBG is giving positive reinforcement for negative behavior and play styles that are directly inverse to the premise, background and mission of the game that the developers created - the game that the community loved so much to make such a success.
  5. It's true, this is terrible and distracting. Now, every minute in the game sounds like what it used to sound like when your jerk teammate left his mic open and made you listen to him loot and load his guns the whole time. Most players hate this new useless noise. Please get rid of it!
  6. The new flare gun is too nerfed. Now, a flare gun is a regular crate. What's the point? Why make an exponentially slower dropping, bigger target, more dangerous crate have the same loot as a regular crate now? Maybe enough for 3 people was too much, but it should at least be enough for two people.

  9. It's true, distance makes it too easy to spot you. It defeats the purpose. I can be prone, 200 yards out and get spotted. I was even prone, in a green gillie suit, unmoving in Sanhok grass and a whole squad instantly spotted and targeted me from not far. Ridiculous.

    RANKS - Please fix better

The whole new ranking system is crap. They wrecked it, and succumbed to noob console gamers gripes. This is a survival game. Last man standing. I have an average game rank of #5, and top ten almost 90% of my games, but dudes with average rank of #20 and only even making it to the top ten like 30% of their games get higher season rank now. It's ridiculous, and its no longer the game. That you get more in TPP and solo is also ridiculous. Please fix the ranking system to fairly reflect effort and get back to the game's roots. If the top rank is Survivor, how are better survivors ranked lower? Hot drop quick die kids are getting more rank. The game is falling apart. It makes NO sense, and thus disenfranchises your most devout and serious players.

  12. How about showing their rank # and insignia in game for teammates to see. What's the point of rank and medals if nobody sees them. Know any military in the world where your rank is hidden???
  13. But you won't get the multipliers, boost or time to use them to earn as those who have had it all this time. You definitely get a disadvantage buying now, so likely, better to wait for the next one... thus, discounts could be enticing. That's all.
  14. How about offering a sale price to convince people to try out the Survivor Pass in the last days. They won't get all the benefits of having it from the start, but will get something. Nobody is going to want to pay full price now because of that, but if you drop it to say $4.99, people might buy it. They get to try some new stuff, and you get more money. It's a win-win.
