  1. Just noticed, it should of course say: Playing Squad with Randoms - Lobby Issues
  2. Maybe the moderators could give us some information why this is different from Xbox and if it will be fixed?
  3. At first I thought this is just a settings issue, but obviously this is how it's supposed to be.
  4. I play on both consoles (X1X & PS4 Pro) and if my friends are not available (usually because they are playing „Climax Legends“) I prefer playing squad with randoms. On Xbox it’s quite convenient, you start a squad game and shortly after you’ll see your teammates on the start screen (including all the precious cosmetics they have „earned“), then you enter the lobby for countdown. If you leave the game you get back to the start screen, all teammates are still there and you can chose to play a new game with them, add them as friends or just leave the team and start over. When starting a squad game on PS4 I'm immediately loaded into the countdown lobby and when I leave the game the start screen is empty, all teammates are gone, even if they are still playing. Doesn’t matter if you leave mid game or complete the game as a team. So even if you would like to continue playing with your recent team, you have to join a new team/game. Since recent players is not at all up-to-date, you can only search for your teammates, if you get the names right. Of course you can open a party in game and invite your teammates, or watching playback can help locate their names, but I can’t quite understand why this is so complicated, when this game is based on good team play. Why would you not simply keep the team together and let them chose to continue or leave the lobby/ start screen.
  5. You should ask yourself why would they make challenges easy, when they sell "Level Ups"! 😜 At least we can hope the funds are used to optimize the game.

    PS4 or xbox?

In general performance on PS4 is still smoother than on Xbox. The only advantage on Xbox One X is the higher resolution, but for the price of lesser performance, although they increased performance with the graphics option for optimized FPS. I have PUBG on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, both on external SSDs, as well as both controllers cabled. Rendering is equally good on both systems, everything is loaded before reaching the ground, PS is a little faster, but controller input lag is terrible on Xbox. If it wasn’t for my friends on Xbox, I wouldn’t even touch PUBG on Xbox again. I guess the reason why this is not discussed at length, is the small number of people playing both consoles, as well as simply getting used to the terrible performance on Xbox. You adapt to the performance quite easily, but when you switch back to PS4, it’s almost like playing with aim assist.
  7. Exactly! Snowmobile into the red zone, jumped off, went into a house and back on after red zone was gone. Counted as one.
  8. I can recommend the orignal Razer Raiju (cable only version). Very responsive and the paddles are not dusturbing at all.

    Losing hope.

Probably the CFO! 😅 Zero, you're supposed to buy G-Coin or premium pass! 😜 But to be fair, even before they introduced Gs on Xbox, crates were let's say rather random! At least you can now sell your stuff for 30 BPs 🤣

4K resolution on PS4 Pro? + SSD benchmark scores

Yes of course, X1X is 4k. There were discussions going on in the Xbox forum, that Xbox One and S were performing better with PUBG. I tried both (S and X1X) and except worse resolution I couldn’t notice any improvement on Xbox One S. Now that they introduced the option for better FPS or resolution I though Xbox One X would finally perform equally good as PS4 Pro, but I was wrong. If it wasn’t for my friends on Xbox, I wouldn’t even touch PUBG on Xbox again. I guess the reason why this is not discussed at length, is the small number of people playing both consoles, as well as simply getting used to the terrible performance on Xbox. You adapt to the performance quite easily, but when you switch back to PS4, it’s like suddenly playing with aim assist.

4K resolution on PS4 Pro? + SSD benchmark scores

Yes it is an option, but even with framerate optimized on, it's still the same difference. There might be a little improvement, but it doesn't get even close to PS4.

4K resolution on PS4 Pro? + SSD benchmark scores

Be careful what you wish for. I constantly switch between X1X and PS4 Pro (both with external SSD and cabled controller) and although Xbox resolution is a little higher, it still feels like playing with rubber stickst on X compared to precise and responsive control on PS4. To be honest you almost don’t notice higher resolution on X and I would always prefer the smoothness of PS4. And it’s still the same, even the new setting on X (framerate/resolution), especially while in vehicles. Whenever I switch to X I ask myself how this is still possible after „just“ 1.5 years. Personally I couldn’t care less about resolution, FPS is what would make the game much more enjoyable.
  13. Or use replay! Same happened to me, lost 3 really cool players. Isn't there any in game Team Management function to add people? But I agree, Xbox handles this much more user friendly in general. Let's wait for today's update.

    Laggy

Especially while driving vehicles. I have the feeling FPS drops have increased. CQC not so much.
