    Hello Players! PUBG’s first class of progression called Weapon Mastery was unveiled just a couple of months ago by our Mastery team, and we’re excited to finally bring this new system to Xbox and PS4 with our June 27th content update! Today, we’ll be going over the finer details of this new progression system and what you can expect on patch day. What is Weapon Mastery? Weapon Mastery is a brand new progression feature in PUBG with unique, free rewards. Our goals for Weapon Mastery are simple: give players an avenue for improving their weapon skills and celebrate the journey along the way. After Weapon Mastery goes live, you’ll notice every weapon now has a series of levels that players can progress through by dealing damage and defeating opponents. It’s important to note however that both strategy and precision also have an influence on how quickly you level up your weapons. Weapon Mastery aims to encourage healthy play in PUBG where both weapon skill and the effort to be the last man standing are rewarded in tandem. TL;DR: Shoot enemies, stay alive, get cool stuff. Progressing in Weapon Mastery You can progress through Weapon Mastery levels by earning Weapon XP in matches. Hitting difficult shots, surviving longer and defeating more enemies will all earn you Weapon XP at a faster rate. After every ten levels on a weapon, you will be promoted to the next Mastery Tier (there are 10 tiers total). Gaining levels and tiers in Weapon Mastery will result in unlocking the rewards content the system has to offer. The farther you progress, the more there is to unlock. In order to help you track your progression, we’ve included a new Last Match screen where you can see your earned Weapon XP, weapon stats, and earned rewards from the previous game you’ve played. Mastery Menu We’ve bundled the Last Match screen and everything else related to weapon progression under this new menu. The Mastery Menu will serve as the new home for all progression content from the Mastery team. In this version, you’ll be able to view weapon stats, see your earned medals and track your rewards progress on each weapon. Earning Rewards Speaking of rewards, Weapon Mastery features a number of new things to unlock and collect, all of which are free to those who earn them. No Weapon Mastery content will ever be purchasable, so be prepared to work for this specialized loot. Giving players the opportunity to show off their accomplishments and personalize their look are very high on our priority list. We've explained how you earn rewards, but here's a taste of the perks and levels coming to Weapon Mastery. Charms Charms are a brand new aesthetic reward to PUBG. Charms are keychain-like trinkets that attach to the left side on the barrel of each weapon. You can equip and see which charms you have unlocked from inside the Mastery tab. We’re launching with 20 unique charms that must be earned on a per weapon basis and it’s a safe bet that there are more on the way. Mastery Emblems Each tier has its own corresponding emblem and those emblems get more prestigious over time. Over the next few months our team will be exploring ways for you to show off your emblems to other players. Medals The launch of Weapon Mastery also features the maiden voyage of our new medals system. Medals are our way of highlighting the awesome accomplishments you perform. Our launch medals all revolve around rare weapons feats. We’ll be sharing more on how medals fit into our larger plans in the future, but in the meantime, enjoy stacking those Quadras. What Are Defeats? Defeats are a new concept we’re bringing to the game in order to clarify how medals are earned. You Defeat a player by Killing any player in the solo playlists Knocking down any enemy in duo or squad playlists Killing the last man standing on a team in duo or squad playlists You do not Defeat a player by Killing an already knocked player in duo or squad playlists ...and no, you can’t defeat your own teammates. Don’t be that guy. What’s Next Weapon Mastery is the first piece of a much larger system currently being designed. As we learn, adapt, and grow as a group, we want to hear from you.     Patch update #30 is here and it is chock-a-block full of new features, vehicles, and a much demanded addition to our handgun selection. The patch is now live on the test server. As always we will keep you informed of when the update pushes live. We heard your calls for more items to use your BP on, so in addition to making even more BP purchasable items in the future, we are creating more opportunities for you to earn the in-game currency with Survival Supply missions until the next Survivor Pass. As for what’s landing in this update, awaiting players on the Battlegrounds are the .45 caliber hand cannon that is the Deagle, amphibious assault vehicle the BRDM-2 and an explosive new way to use an old favorite with explodable Gas Cans! Gameplay is getting a big new feature with the addition of ledge grab, giving players the ability to navigate the Battlegrounds in a whole new way and forcing them to think strategically in entirely new dimensions, namely vertical. Coordinating with global teammates is also getting a big step forward with the introduction of radio messages, short burst text communications for better identifying items, clarifying objectives and cooperating with teammates. You’ll be able to find more details in the patch notes below on updates to Weapon Mastery, including XP bonus events, default pro-settings for custom matches, brightness options for each map and a whole lot more. New Vehicle: BRDM-2 “Players feeling froggy for a fight will now have the chance to call down an armor plated amphibious assault BRDM-2 by using the Flare Gun!” BRDM-2 can only be called in as a special Care Package using the Flare Gun on all maps and it replaces the armored UAZ. Over waterways or terrain, this amphibious vehicle increases your options to navigate firefights and the Battlegrounds themselves. Characteristics BRDM-2’s total HP is 2500 and its health is twice as much as UAZ, while its gigantic, sturdy wheels cannot be damaged. Powerful bulletproof vehicle that can reduce incoming damage such as ammunition based assaults as well as grenades and red zone damage. BRDM-2 is an amphibious vehicle that can continue to ground travel on water, but players can’t shoot while on board. It has a capacity of up to four players on board, and Its top water speed is 22km/h and top speed on the road is 102km/h when boosted. New Weapon: Deagle “Bang Bang Pow? That’s the sound of two shots from a Deagle breaking a level 3 helmet.” The Deagle is a handgun that deals the strongest pistol damage with great muzzle velocity and will be spawned on all maps. Deagle can deal 62 damage per shot and take both red-dot and holographic sights, various magazines and a laser pointer that improves hip fire accuracy. With greater than average pistol damage and muzzle velocity comes harder to control recoil. Deagle has a single firemode type that uses .45 ACP ammo and the standard magazine fits 7 rounds. (It can be extended to 10 with an extended magazine) Gameplay Ledge Grab “Find new ways to fight, jump, grab, get up, and go with our new Ledge Grab feature!” Features Ledge grab allows you to take new paths by climbing up the edge of roofs, fences, and obstacles up to 2.5 meters high, and jump from building to building or container to container. Now that players can move to places they weren’t able to reach before, we look forward to seeing gameplay with new strategies climbing to places your opponent won’t be able to anticipate. How to use You can activate ledge grab by either jumping or vaulting (space bar) and then continue to press the space bar or by pressing the space bar at the right timing in midair, heading towards the target location. You can cancel the ledge grab while it is activated and fall to the ground by following the same method of cancelling the vaulting/climbing. A message from the Dev. team on ledge grab This is the first iteration of ledge grab, you cannot yet hang on the railings or slide down railings. However, ledge grab will be updated twice in total including this update, the dev team will keep working to enable those features just mentioned from the other update in the future. We anticipate a similar adoption period for ledge grab as we had with the initial introduction of vaulting. We will work to isolate any improvements or modifications that need to be made during the early stages of the feature’s launch. Please try out the new ledge grab and kindly give us your feedback so that we can further improve and polish the feature, which is the utmost priority to the Dev. team. We will continue to make our best efforts to quickly ensure the feature is as stable and useful as possible. We very much appreciate your interest and feedback. Improved Gas Can “We like the cans. The cans that go boom!” Features Added strategic elements to the Gas Can, an item that used to be seen to have few advantages to loot. As soon as Gas Can explodes, it will deal damage to all players in a radius around it’s location. When the Gas Can is blown up, it deals damage in a radius around it, dealing more damage to those close by Keep in mind that you can hurt both yourself and your teammates if you stand to close to the explosion, so be careful! How to use Drop a Gas Can on the ground and damage it with bullets or throwables, which will cause it to explode and deal damage to those close by. Each Gas Can will now display individually in the inventory when players have more than one Gas Can to reduce confusion, as dropping multiple Gas Cans will not multiply the damage. Example: Radio Message “You can’t talk over a chicken dinner if you don’t communicate in a match. Radio Messages will keep you coordinated with every teammate, no matter the region or mic situation. “ Playing with players from different regions in random Duo or Squad matches or players with no access to voice chat have made it difficult to establish team-based strategy through close communication between team members. To help solve this problem, we are introducing text-based Radio Messages that will help you communicate with your team more quickly and easily for successful strategic gameplay. Hold the mouse wheel or F3 to open the Radio Message Wheel UI. There are 8 types of messages provided–selected messages will be displayed on the left screen and immediately shown to your teammates. Ping and Enemy Spotted, in particular, can be used in various circumstances. You can use them more quickly with separate key bindings. Ping: Click the mouse wheel or press F3 Enemy Spotted: Double click the mouse wheel or double press F3 Pings has various interactions. Select Ping near a certain item, and you can share the name and location of the pinged item with your teammates. You can also use Ping on Care Packages or death crates to share their location. Ping the direction you want to move toward to share the direction with your teammates. All these features above automatically place a marker on the map and will be useful to utilize together with the Tactical Map Marker. Enemy Spotted allows you to quickly share the location of an enemy you’ve spotted. Use Enemy Spotted at the enemy’s location to mark it on the map and share it with your teammates. Messages vary by distance: Near Range: less than 50M Medium Range: less than 200M Long Range: 200M or more Example: ENEMY SPOTTED! Long Range 300 Ping and Enemy Spotted send messages to teammates within 500M. Need Ammo works dynamically, with the message reflecting the ammo type of the weapon you are holding. Example: If you select Need Ammo while holding an M416, the message sent to your teammates will be “I NEED 5.56mm.” You can mute Radio Messages from teammates individually in the Team Management menu. Kill distance has been added to center-screen kill messages. The distance between you and the enemy you killed will be displayed alongside the standard kill message in the middle of the screen. Kill distance will only be shown you kill enemies from over 100 m away. This will appear only when you kill the enemy by yourself. DBNO kill messages remain the same and won’t show kill distance. Survival Supply System “Loot, loot, loot. Hello BP, we’ve missed you.” We’ve got new BP items for both looking good and keeping you statistically in the know on specific weapons, so to help you earn even more BP to pick them up we have added a limited time “Survival Supply System” before the next Survivor Pass. The system will provide daily and weekly missions to accomplish and provide BP as a reward. Don’t forget to scope out the new items you can buy with the BP you earned in the store! The Survival Supply System will run from after June 26th, 2019 up until live server maintenance on July 24th, 2019. The system is free. Unlike the previous Supply System, there is no level and rewards once daily/weekly missions are accomplished. You can check your missions by clicking the banner on the left of the lobby, just like the Survivor Pass. Rewards When your missions are complete, you earn from 200 BP to 1,500 BP. Missions Daily Missions will be updated daily at 02:00 UTC, and weekly missions at the same time every Wednesday. You can check the real time mission progress in in-game. Daily Missions: You can complete up to 3 missions everyday. Missions can be swapped out 3 times per day for free. Weekly Missions: You can complete 3 missions each week. You can swapped out 3 times per week for free. Expired missions disappear. You can claim your reward by clicking the Survival Supply System banner then clicking the claim button from the mission tab. End date The Survival Supply System will end with the start of the live server maintenance on July 23rd, 2019 (PDT). Make sure you claim all rewards prior to this date, as any unclaimed rewards will disappear. Skins & Items Introducing new skins you can find once this patch hits the live server! This includes new skins which can you purchase directly with BP. Play PUBG, earn BP, get skins! Added 4 GLL Grand Slam: PUBG Classic items. Added 10 Summer Season items Added 10 Twitch Broadcaster Royale items Added 2 BattleStat Skins items Added items for purchase directly with BP. 2 BattleStat Skins 6 shoes Weapon Mastery Weapon zoom You can now zoom in and out when viewing your weapons in the Mastery tab to give you a better look at your hard earned charms attached to your favorite weapon Emblem animation For every 10 level ups, a new tier emblem animation will be displayed to show your tier progression. New weapon – Deagle added to the Mastery tab Earn XP and unlock charms for our newest weapon, the Deagle. Improved the Last Match popup UI The weapon icon displayed in the Last Match popup now varies for each player. The icons of the top 3 weapons with the highest score in the last match will appear in the popup message. The displayed weapon icons follow the weapon sorting order applied to the Last Match page. In-game charm equip/unequip feature You can now equip and unequip charms in-game, just like you can for weapon skins. While wearing other players’ skins, press Alt+Shift+LMB to unequip them, and press Alt+LMB to equip your skins and charm. [Test Server] Bonus weapon XP rewards test We’re testing a feature specifically on the Test Server until Midnight June 22 (KST) which allows us to grant players bonus Mastery XP. This feature allows certain weapons to gain more XPs during a certain period. For 3 days, you can earn 3 times more XP with handguns, SMGs and SRs. This feature won’t be applied to the Live Server in June. Once testing is complete and the feature stable, we will may use this system on live servers in the future. Keep an eye out for future announcements. UI/UX Added brightness options for each map Brightness option are now changeable per map, to allow players more choice with each map’s unique visual characteristics. A new option allows you to adjust brightness for each map individually. You can also use the existing option to adjust brightness of all maps together. Readability improved for parachute UI For greater readability, the text outline of the parachute altitude and speed has been thickened. Store UI improvement Featured page Featured page has been added for the new Summer items. BP item filter added A filter button has been added, allowing you to exclusively view BP items. Improved purchase button responsiveness The clickable area of the purchase button has been made bigger so you can click the button more easily. This should remove some frustration from having to click precisely to trigger a purchase. Improved Survivor Pass in-game mission list UI The in-game mission list UI has been improved to more clearly distinguish completed missions from and in-progress/uncompleted missions. Performance Buildings at short distance now load 30 to 40% faster through optimization of level streaming (rendering). Material data structure has been optimized. Streaming (rendering) priority has been optimized through estimating of players’ movement route and allocating resource priority accordingly. Furniture rendering speed has been optimized. Level LOD data has been optimized. Reduced delays which could occur when opening crates from the Store. Custom Match Added 2019 Global Rule Preset to Custom Match Esports Mode Added 2019 Global Esports Rule preset for Esports Mode Custom Matches You can now select “2019 Global Rule Settings” Preset on the Create screen for Esports Mode When selecting each map, blue zone settings and item spawn rate for each map are automatically applied For blue zone settings, the same blue zone setting is applied to all maps Miramar, Sanhok and Vikendi have the same item spawn rate, with Erangel having a different item spawn rate due to the recent rebalance. Item spawn rate values of the Global Esports ruleset can be found under the rule tab after clicking Match Setting button after creating a Custom Match session. Custom Game Options now allow two options to choose after a player is killed: ‘Spectate’ or ‘Observer’ Spectate: A dead player remains in the team through spectating. You can change to Observer mode by pressing F5 button in Spectate mode but you can’t return to Spectate mode from Observer mode. Observer: You can choose Observer after death to remain in the Custom Match as Observer the same as before. The feature mentioned above can be enabled and disabled through the ‘Observer’ option set by the Custom Match creator. Fixed an issue where players who were DBNO while ADSing, returned to the ADS state after being revived. Fixed an issue which could affect players experiencing poor network connectivity causing the player to enter the falling animation when ejecting from the plane. Fixed an issue in observer mode, where the player list would freeze when a hotkey was pressed repeatedly. Fixed an issue where players were not rewarded a kill if their DBNO opponent was killed by self-inflicted or environmental damage, such as grenade or fall damage. Fixed an issue which prevented players from following other players with the in-game friends list.

    He wants to be able to carry 400+ rounds of 7.62 I nearly always run 5.56 AR with an AK or Beryl / Mutant but only until I find a DMR or Sniper, then I can drop the surplus. You can’t have everything, it’s part of the game to compromise your inventory and work with what you have. Pisses me off when people complain and try to push for changing the game to spoon feed everything you need for any situation. It’s hard, it’s unfair sometimes..... deal with it.

    Everyone is constantly asking for map selection but we know console probably doesn't have the numbers to support it. What if instead of having a featured map; we had the ability to choose one map we DIDN'T want to play? When a map selection thread pops up, it's usually because they got the same map over and over. I think it would be less likely that any certain map would have a low lobby population since choosing not to play that certain one, would leave the other three open. What do y'all think?

    I've been killed by him about 11 times in the last few days its driving me mad.... I've had him in my sights several times without him even knowing and can never kill him because he never stays still for even 1 second! 😂😂.... dunno about thumbless but I bet hes got a sore thumb from all that wiggling around..... I'm gonna get him one day from the safety of my Bush.

    I also prefer to run all 762 if possible AKM/Kar9 is my setup. The increased damage payout is worth the restricted ammo storage.

    I don't know about the rest of you guys, but the lag is ruining the game for me and my friends. We get lagged killed so often that it's killing our love of playing this game, and we don't know what to do. We're dying behind cover, so far into cover, and there's nothing we can do. It sucks and is ruining this game for a lot of us.

    It looks like we will finally have enough gigamuffs to run this as clean as on PC 😁😁. Personally I'm hoping they release pubg2 as a title release, all new maps and everything we all dream.of within this game, ultra smooth and looking as good as can be.

    The mastery system is separate to all other stats and isn't retro active, so everyone will start at the same point once it has been introduced.

    Damn. Even lvl 2 is enough for me, I carry an AKM with a Kar98 most of the times, 150 rounds, two frags, one smoke, one flashbang, 4 first aids, two painkillers and 4/5 energy drinks. That's more than enough to kill a player and loot him if needed to recover some ammo/meds. I always try to carry a revolver as those 7 bullets will give you another kar98/m24 mag and you're asking for a lvl 4 backpack, are you planning to loot once and have enough loot for the entire game taking no risk looting from boxes? That's a big no from me, lvl 3 is way more than enough. Soon you'll be asking for a lvl 4 helmet 🤷‍♂️

    well realism isn't the goal, a couple of bandages and 2 red bulls do not cure bullet holes irl. but IRL you can and people DO lean around corners through gaps etc and as it turns out leaning out in the open in the game makes you harder to hit, because recoild goes up and if someone aims at your chest then the recoil will take their shots up and miss your head. So you present a smaller target. Its just a gameplay feature, the game is stylistic rather than realistic. If you want realism then there are much better options like tarkov.

    Level 4 bag is the term that me and my buddies use for carrying or getting carried for a chicken dinner.. "Good thing I had my lvl 4 bag for(insert name) to ride in".. I totally thought by the title this was gonna be about how your back is worn out from toting around a full 4 bag lol..

    Вообще неважно, нравятся большинству эти карты или нет. Желающих играть на них достаточно, поэтому все 4 карты должны быть доступны для игры, хотя бы на отдаленном сервере. Сейчас 2 из них недоступны полностью только из-за неисправной системы поиска матча. Не понимаю, о чем тут вообще спорить.

    главное чтобы разделение было между режимами TPP и FPP , а разделение между соло дуо и командой вот вообще не нужно . еще и такое дикое долгое начисление уровня , играю в дуо за 7 часов игры набрал 70 поинтов , у меня 4150 ( при условии что это уже набрано играя каждый день по 3 часа минимум с начала сезона ) чтобы набрать 6000 я должен еще 27 дней по 7 часов играть вот откуда взять столько времени если ты не школоло и хочешь помимо игры еще и в личную жизнь успевать )))

    Agreed, I try to do the wiggle as much as possible now also but he is on another level, I bet he gets dizzy 😂... he doesnt stop wiggling ever, even when aiming hes walking in circles. Hes got it down to a fine art. I still end up resting at some point as it starts to get annoying, or sometimes when healing or looting I stop and as you say, often get head shotted 😂. One day I'll get him... several times I've spotted him ahead doing his usual circling and surveying and trying to draw fire... I'm in my Bush....I take aim....its perfectly lined up, now if only he would just stay still for long enough so I can pop his head 😂😂... one day. It's pointless trying to shoot him if you cant do it in one shot, he will just spot you and take you down. Seen it many times. He is very good. Very annoying 😂😂

    This games movement is meant to feel slow and clunky. You've got 2 rifles on your back, a bag full of ammo and stuff, a bulletproof vest and helmet, grenades on your utility belt etc and you think you should be able to somersault over a 6 foot wall in half a second? 🤷‍♂️

    SOLVED The problem was in BitDefender that somehow decided to block BE and EAC, I had to add all the .exe files in the TSIGame.exe folder to the Advanced Threat Protection exceptions. The first troubleshooting tips that I posted only told about exception to the BitDefender firewall, which did not work.

    They’re only updating every few days again. I think the one guy in the leaderboard was the first, but I’m sure more have made it since and it’s just not refreshing. The leaderboard is totally useless because it doesn’t work and almost everybody agrees it doesn’t show the best players at the top anyway

    I think it’s fine, I’d just like in-game sound option sliders so I can turn down my team chat volume. Can’t hear shit over that.

    Neither...? I haven't been on since the patch. I was just thinking that I've never seen textures melt like that... If its the patch its unacceptable. I will say that I've noticed a steady decline in visual quality as they've been "optimizing" this game. huge amounts of pop in and texture flicker. bizarre and noticeable transitions between detail on objects. Its still a remarkably fun game, but visual quality is not a strong suit. And it seems things are getting worse!

    Yep I'm on it peeps, do people want to be involved in the commentating after they die? You can then use my stream to interact in the stream audio, up to you lot just an idea to keep all involved. My mixer channel is the same as GT and forum name and it's a zero in my name not an o. I will be on about 9ish hopefully so if anyone is about at that time send me a party invite.
